My brother is safe because by James

Mom - My brother is safe because:
We always check to make sure his EpiPen is not expired
I am always washing my hands and even my friends when they are around. my brother always does. All of his friends know about his allergies.
He never takes off his medical alert bracelet.
He is never afraid to tell someone.
Mom he will be fine.
He will be safe we all just know what to do.

911 helps us
Not hurts us
Don’t be scared to call 9-1-1
You can be scared but not afraid
Someone is near
Keep your friend in the crowd alive
LTA - life threatening allergies
Someone will listen
Someone is close by

- James F., brother to peanut/nut/milk/egg allergic Marcus, 2008.

Liam, age 7, writes to Health Canada, asking for better food labelling:

“Please write all the ingredients on food labels so I feel safe. Thank you.” Liam
