Advocate - In Niagara

A membership feature is regular email updates, keeping members informed of helpful information, tips and best practices. Click here for a membership brochure.

“Thank you for your work for the kids of Niagara with allergies! You do a fabulous job at educating and at keeping us (Nask members) informed - Thank you!”
- Briar W.

NASK collaborates with Niagara health care and service providers to increase allergy awareness and safety. The food allergic consumer market is expanding. Our goal is for visitors to Niagara to have access to allergy aware service, creating a unique Niagara experience that allows food allergic people to be included.

Trailblaze - in Ontario
NASK initiated and lead the grassroots support for the passing of “Sabrina’s Law” in Ontario. The first of its kind internationally, Ontario has influenced policy makers in Canada and across the world.

“For us, it’s wonderful to see that Sabrina’s Law has made a difference in school settings. Ultimately, students at risk are required to be more safety conscious and better protected, a benefit to them, their educators and peers. Proactive measures reduce risk and the probability of being required to react to an emergency. Thank you to Niagara supporters for being part of the solution!”
- Cindy Paskey

Through a grant from the Wise Guys Charity Fund, NASK established an Epi-Pen® fund that helps people in financial need purchase life saving medication, Epi-Pens®. People that qualify would not have medical coverage through employment or government programs. To apply, contact Sherri at 905 714-1514 or email nask@sympatico.ca
